This paper looks at the practical implementation of an Open Source change management tool using three distinct perspectives

1.Supporting IT activity by using Enterprise change management processes

2.Using a change management tool to support development and reduce administration by dovetailing into the IT change management process

3.Implementing an Enterprise change management tool using Request Tracker (RT), an OSS ticket management system written in Perl

The paper will present a variety of material based on the authors ten years of Application Lifecycle Management experience. As well as examples and discussion of specific topics, including check lists and UML Process models, demonstrations will be given using RT.
